Why We Like The 4 Slide Climbing Harness

We like extra comfort on projecting days, so we step into the 4 Slide Climbing Harness. We clip our chalk bag to the back loop to regain friction and courage as we approach the crux. When the wall spits us off, the cushy leg loops and waist help relieve pressure while we hang to study the route and pantomime beta.

Great harness

Nice harness overall. The buckles allow for ample amounts of tightening up. It’s comfy while climbing. Price is right.

Super high quality. Plus the 4 way adjustment is super convenient for that perfect fit.

Great but uncomfortable on the thigh

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I am a total beginner so I may be wearing it wrong, but I purchased these along with the Selenas to see which ones worked for me.. I tried both of them a few times on an auto-belay system. After trying the 4-slide I felt like the metal strap fasteners were digging into my thigh. I had them at a snug setting, just enough where it wouldn't squeeze. Now writing this post I realized I should've loosened it so that it may have helped. Other than that I love the padding on the waist and the amount of adjustments available on the strap!

Phenomenal All-round Harness

As someone who is getting more and more into climbing, I typically want to look for a lighter yet equally effective harness as my previous BD Solution harnesses with generous gear loops, but the light-weighted nature of the Mammut Sender harness. This 4-Slide Harness is a little too much for me, mainly because I'm lazy and would prefer the single buckle adjustment as opposed to adjusting all 4. While it is definitely amazing for adjustment and even to share between friends of similar waist size, I would want something a bit lighter and less finnicky in terms of time taken to put on.

The inner foam is pretty thick and stiff. It folds nicely because of the slit down the middle of the foam in the back. The gear loops are rather floppy where they meet the waist belt, I'm not a fan of them. It is a good harness for gym use, it is also pretty comfortable. Due to the 2 waist buckles, it can fit a super wide range of people so I can lend it to anyone and they will probably fit it.

good extra harness

Ok for a spare harness, but not that great for your primary. Bulky and not lightweight

Durable, comfortable, versatile

I use this both for gym and outdoor climbing. It's very comfy, so I can sit in it while projecting tough sport climbs. It's also super durable and can take its fair share of abuse. The belay loop has a built in wear indicator which makes deciding on whether to retire it super easy! If you're looking for a harness for the first time and are having trouble deciding, this harness would be a good place to start. It's super affordable, will last a long time, and fits many different body shapes! The only downside is that it's not super compact! It's heavier than most harnesses and will take up a lot of space in your gear bag.

I love this harness! It is super comfortable and adjustable. One of my favorite aspects of it is that massive gear loops which are perfect for trad and specifically Indian Creek style climbing. It is perfect for single pitch climbing. I've tried to take it up on a few multi pitches and it wasn't quite as comfortable for long days as I had hoped

Very comfortable and easy to adjust straps and clips. Great for lead climbing. Little big for a medium.

comfortable and unique looking

I like the 4 adjustments. The look and design of the harness is unique and stands out. Comfortable enough and meets my needs.
