The new KATANA LACES CLIMBING SHOES climbing and mountaineering shoes have arrived, presenting a rigid, versatile, comfortable and durable design capable of climbing the most challenging mountains.
It features a precise and comfortable toe box to hook your toes. It has a velcro-type closure fastening system that provides unparalleled balance. It has a narrow sole and a reinforced heel.
It has two back straps that facilitate its posture. In the upper part they are made of synthetic leather and canvas.
The Katana Lace, despite its downturned shape, is a comfortable all-day climbing workhorse that performs well on slabs and can easily twist into thin cracks but excels outside on steep single or multi-pitch routes. The slightly downturned toe and subtle asymmetry ensures you can hook into pockets or exploit the tiniest edges while providing unrivaled comfort for the level that it performs at. The Katana Lace is a veritable edging machine now available in Men’s and Women’s styles.

I have used several pairs of Katana Velcro climbing shoes and they are quite different from the Katana laces; The latter are much more aggressive and the sizing is different, in the Katana Velcro I use 2 numbers less than my street size, and in the Katana laces one size less. Very good quality.

Great shoes, recommend using their sizing chart to establish the best fit. Was a little surprised at the extra cost at customs but that has nothing to do with the shoe. Superior grip and best comfort for my oddly shaped feet. Highly recommended the lace ups. Great product.

Rebuying these shoes as they are my favourite pair I've worn. Really solid rubber. Wasn't expecting this new generation of katana laces to be so aggressive, however the last pair I had adapted to my foot pretty quickly, so I'm sure these will too.

After many years of climbing and determined to move up the grade, I followed the advice of a friend and purchased the famous "Miura". First I tried the Miura with laces, then the ones with velcro. There was no case. They are uncomfortable and when I was climbing, instead of thinking about the movement to make, I was waiting for the moment to be able to take them off. And that happened to me with different sizes of that model, that is, it wasn't just about "softening" problems... Without thinking twice, I decided to try the well-reputed "Katana". First, I got the Katana Velcro, but they were very narrow in the metatarsal (and I understood why Lasprotiva puts them in the box "for narrow feet"). And finally, and without being able to try them on, I bet on the Katana Laces, the ones that everyone talks about but in its updated version, and this is where I realized when I put it on for the first time, it really "feels like a glove": A very comfortable but at the same time precise model, just what I was looking for to progress in climbing. purchase at Trekkinn, everything was perfect as always and delivery as stipulated, no problem!
